- I grew up here on my dad's farm that we turned into the Sainte Genevieve Winery over 20 years ago. I'm the educated enologist and he's the experienced farmer/business man. What kind of wine do you make with these grapes?

We make a Vignole wine. It is popular here in Missouri. Most wineries, including us, finish it slightly sweet. My friend, Becky, calls it "Pujols" (from the St. Louis Cardinals) because phonetically the words sound similar. You pronounce it vin-yole.
