Autumn

I know it was less than two weeks ago that I was complaining about hot weather. Well, today the high is 48, and there is a wind chill. Guess I need to bring a heavier coat to work.
These pictures were taken today. I know the first two look similar, but I couldn't decide which one I liked better. You are looking over the Norton, and onto the lower Concord.
The last picture is what we think is a random Pinot Noir vine.

Elaine,
My wine look great this year. I have racked it once, but have not yet tasted it. I see that you have some Pinot Noir - how does it do for you? I have some Cab Franc that I have found to be the easiest to grow of the vinifera.

We only have a vine or two of Pinot Noir. We ordered Riesling from the nursery last year, and they sent us Pinot, so we sent it back, but there must have been a vine or two of Pinot Noir in the Riesling they sent. The leaves are beautiful, but since we only have 2 vines, and they are only 2 years old, we are not making Pinot Noir wine at this time.
